POSITION SUMMARY: Food Production - Machine Operator PR03 – Full-Time
Starting Pay: $17.15/HR (with $1.50/HR shift premium for 2nd shift positions)
Machine operators run the form, fill, and seal packaging machines used to package sausage chubs.

Responsibilities
  • Knowledge of product codes, product descriptions and associated seasoning and ingredient codes and descriptions and packaging materials.
  • Keep work area clean and tidy during production.
  • Knowledge of proper machine operation, calibration and replenishing consumable materials used in packaging.
  • Set up of date coding equipment with proper date per production sheets.
  • Visually inspect packages as the come down the line, removing defective packages from the line.
  • Operate within standard operating procedures (SOPs) and Job Safety Analysis (JSAs).
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Provide on-the-job training to new team members.
  • Manual dexterity required for performing job.
  • Must be willing and able to lift up to 50 pounds.
