As a machine safety engineer, you will be responsible for projects combining mechanics and occupational health and safety, from developing solutions to implementing the concepts you have created. Your role? Ensuring compliance, analyzing and mitigating risks, and ensuring the safety of our facilities’ equipment. WITH THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES, YOU WILL BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE:

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering
• Member in good standing of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ)
• Experience in a similar position, ideally in an industrial setting
• Experience and interest in machine risk analysis and occupational health and safety
• In-depth knowledge of machine safety standards and regulations
• Knowledge of SolidEdge or equivalent CAD software
