Protofab Engineering, an industry leading provider of high end manufactured components is searching for a full time Estimator. Candidate must have experience estimating and managing projects in a machine shop environment.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

Work directly with customers on requirements for estimates.
Estimate labor, outside services and lead time to provide accurate bids to the customer.
Work with shop staff on processes to keep projects progressing correctly.
Must possess the ability to trouble shoot processes, prior to starting and during production to prevent or limit issues.
Must be a good communicator and able to diplomatically keep all members of the production/management team working together.
Must be able to work with production team to correctly relay progress of projects to the customers.
Must be able to work with Inspection department as needed on quality questions.
Experience using JobBOSS is preferred

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

Must have experience setting up and operating machine centers and lathes
Must have programming experience
Must have experience with print reading, GD&T and inspection processes
Must have experience in Solid Works
Must be proficient using Microsoft Office
Other duties may be assigned dependent on prior experience or motivation of the applicant.
Pay will be based on experience.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time
Some light lifting is involved
