We are looking for a Machine Shop Manager who will be responsible for scheduling, quality, and coordination of all labor and materials in the machine shop department. Provide frequent constructive feedback to employees to encourage continued improvement Facilitate the training process of new machine shop employee with support from the Technical Manager. Ensure they are provided with all the necessary tools and training to do the job safely and effectively. Manage hiring, disciplinary action and terminations within the machine shop Schedule machines and staff for maximum productivity Coordinate all labor and materials in the machine shop Assist and provide input with purchasing for items related to manufacturing Administer company policies as necessary. Maintain open communication with Human Resources regarding application of these policies and any personnel issues within the department.
