GENERAL SUMMARY
Working as part of Celeros Operations Management team, the primary role of the Manufacturing Manager (Machining) is to act as the first line of management accountable for the safe and efficient operation of the machine shop, and the weld and fabrication areas.
This includes, but is not limited to, people management of the machine shop team, weld and fabrication team allocating daily tasks in accordance with the schedule to meet customer demands, managing performance and development issues, machine shop and weld shop workflow, as well as meticulously always maintaining visual management standards, introducing improvement projects to drive and support KPI’s. Driving daily toolbox talks ensuring team engagement and buy in. Technical ability to support the daily machine shop running.
