OVERVIEW

· Supervision and Team Management
· Lead, motivate, and manage a team of machinists, setters, and operators.
· Allocate workload and resources effectively to meet production schedules.
· Conduct team briefings and provide regular feedback to staff.
· Identify training needs and coordinate skills development.
· Production Planning & Workflow
· Plan daily and weekly production activities in line with demand and capacity.
· Monitor progress and adjust priorities where necessary.
· Ensure all jobs are completed on time and meet quality expectations.
· Liaise with planning, engineering, and maintenance teams.
· Stock Control
· Ensure stocks of raw materials are accurate and counted to agreed schedule.
· Ensure consumables are stored correctly and replenished as required.
· Quality & Safety
· Ensure adherence to quality standards and inspection processes.
· Conduct root cause analysis of defects and implement corrective actions.
· Promote a safe working environment and ensure compliance with Health & Safety policies and procedures.
