We are looking for a talented Machine Tool Electrician Apprentice, who will learn and understand electrical wiring standards. You will be responsible for the electrical assembly and wiring of sub-assemblies or complete machines in a safe and timely manner while working under the guidance of experienced electricians and panel builders.   Main Responsibilities: * Prioritize LINK safety standards for yourself and others around electrical devices * Participation in lockout/tagout and arc flash safety courses * Learn and understand the aspects of the electrical trade to bend conduit both rigid and EMT * Learn and apply NEC and Link electrical wiring standards * Learn and understand electrical schematics * Learn how to layout electrical boxes on machine bases and pulling and terminating wire correctly * Learn and apply the Link ring out process to check for continuity and correct wiring * Learn basic electrical troubleshooting using a multimeter * Learn to use label printers for wire and subplates * Identify different types of wire, electrical and electronic components * Report any non-conformance or process change to their supervisor * Ensure work is performed in a safe manner using all available safety equipment * All other related duties as assigned * Possess mental faculties consistent with performing the minimum requirements of the job * Adhere and perform all duties aligned with the core values of the LINK Group organization, Can-Do Attitude, Courage, Commitment, Humility and Accountability Qualifications: * High School Diploma or equivalent * Trade School certificate or 1 year of experience in electrical assembly, manufacture, or repair Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: * Able to read and follow basic blueprints specifications to build final product * Basic knowledge of shop mathematics * Forklift Certification preferred * Overhead crane experience preferred * Must be self-motivated and eager to learn, listen and follow directions * Ability to use a computer Physical Requirements:  * Ability to speak verbally, and read in English * Ability to walk. * Ability to see with corrective lenses. * Ability to hear. * Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. * Ability to bend, stoop, crouch, reach, hand-eye coordination, and manual dexterity. * Ability to use a computer. * Able to work evenings and/or weekends as required. * Able to travel up to 10% domestically.
