Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for wiring and debugging electrical systems for Custom Machines.
Duties
- Read and interpret electrical control circuits from wiring diagrams and blueprints
- Layout and wire electrical panels
- Plan work sequence on each machine including conduit runs, terminal box locations, wire lengths and wire sizes
- Make up proper length electrical wiring cables, labels and connectors
- Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices
- Ensure compliance with local and national electrical codes
Experience
5-10 years
Required Skills:
- Ability to effectively communicate and work as a team
- Strong knowledge of safe work practices with electrical systems
- Ability to use tools such as ohmmeters and voltmeters
- Experience as a machine tool electrician
- Ability to read electrical schematics
