SYSPAL LTD is a market leader in the Innovation, Design and Manufacture of aluminium and stainless-steel equipment for a wide range of industries including food, pharmaceutical, veterinary and medical both UK and worldwide.
As a result of our continued success, we are looking to recruit a Machine Wiring Technician.

SKILLS, CHARACTERISTICS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Understand and interpret wiring schematics diagrams to complete installation of electrical components.

  • Skilled at fitting appropriate cable terminations and routing a variety of cable types using glands, conduits and trunking.
  • Fault finding skills using a Multimeter.
  • Able to perform mechanical assembly of subassemblies using hand and/or power tools.
  • Follow prescribed safety rules and regulations and maintain quality standards.
  • Experience using various tools including manual/electric/pneumatic tools.
  • Can safely operate a variety of material handling equipment (Pallet pump truck, Cranes, hand carts, and prescribed safety equipment.)
  • Access all required parts of the machines during build, including occasionally using ladders and work platforms where required.
  • Computer literate using Microsoft office packages.
  • Able to work on own initiative and manage work load to suit production schedules.
  • Good attitude towards continuous improvement, attention to detail and quality of work.

Responsibilities
  • Fitting of Pre-built Electrical panels to a variety of OEM machines.
  • Routing and connection of cabling to peripheral parts and sensors such as Limit switches, Proximity sensors and Door interlocks.
  • Electrical connection to Single and Three phase motors, Hydraulic power packs and Pneumatic components.
  • Assembly and wiring of basic electrical panels and cable assemblies.
  • Problem solving and working with Machine designers to improve build techniques and production methods.
  • Documenting panel layouts and Component Bill of Materials.
  • Preparation, assembly, and wiring of our product line to prepare for testing and final quality inspection.
  • Live testing of OEM machines following test procedures and recording of results, this requires an understanding of correct system function and possible failure situations.
