We’re seeking a dynamic Machinery Manager to join our Marine Engineering Chapter to help deliver innovative and sustainable cruising, based within our Warnemunde Site Office. Role Overview You will be a specialist in CCS, and recognised expert within your own discipline as well as the wider team. As a chapter member, you will play a vital role within a dynamic and agile team, contributing to technical excellence, sharing specialised knowledge, and actively collaborating with fellow team members to foster innovation and achieve excellence. The successful candidate will have substantial experience of working in the maritime industry such as shipbuilding, classification societies or ship operators, technical suppliers, or an engineering firm in a managerial position. Relevant qualifications within your specialised area will also be required. Key accountabilities include: · Playing a pivotal role in the production and delivery of the new vessels by overseeing the distribution, quality control and monitoring of daily work activities of all team members. · Supervising all installation works and commissioning of equipment related to discipline areas, ensuring they are inspected, verified and functionally tested to meet the design parameters and contractual requirements. Required Qualifications and Skills · Degree in relevant engineering discipline · Chartered Engineer · Proven technical experience in the maritime industry such as shipbuilding, classification societies or ship operators, technical suppliers, or engineering firm in a senior position.
