OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled Machining/Grinding/Tapping professional to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in machining processes and be familiar with various manufacturing techniques and equipment. This role is essential for ensuring the production of high-quality components that meet our stringent specifications.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience in a manufacturing facility with a focus on machining, grinding, or tapping operations.
  • Familiarity with CNC programming, CAM programming, and programmable logic controllers (PLC).
  • Proficient in using hand tools and tooling for fabrication tasks.
  • Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to machining processes.
  • Mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
  • Experience with SolidWorks or CAD software is a plus.
  • Knowledge of quality control processes and standards within a manufacturing environment.
  • Previous factory experience or warehouse experience is preferred but not mandatory. Candidates who possess skills in welding, flexo press operation, stamping press usage, or have experience in packaging will be given special consideration. Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, and other machining equipment to produce precision parts.
  • Perform grinding and tapping operations as required, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine machining specifications.
  • Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify dimensions and tolerances.
  • Conduct quality control checks throughout the manufacturing process to ensure compliance with GD&T standards.
  • Collaborate with team members on the assembly line for efficient production flow.
  • Handle materials safely using forklifts and other materials handling equipment.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
