Position Summary: AAA United States, Inc. has partnered with a company in Wichita, Kansas that is one of the world's largest manufacturers of aerostructures for commercial airplanes, defense platforms, and business/regional jets. With expertise in aluminum and advanced composite manufacturing solutions, the company’s core products include fuselages, integrated wings and wing components, pylons, and nacelles. The Machining Technician is responsible for the setup, operation, and maintenance of processing equipment to ensure product conformity to engineering requirements, customer specifications, and regulatory standards. Essential Functions: Set up and operate chemical processing equipment and associated tooling in accordance with engineering specifications, process procedures, and work instructions Perform anodizing, conversion coating (e.g., Dow Metal), surface preparation, and related chemical treatments on metallic aircraft components Prepare, monitor, and maintain chemical solutions to required concentrations in accordance with laboratory and process control requirements Control process variables including time, temperature, voltage, and amperage to achieve required material properties and surface finishes Execute multi-step processing sequences, including masking, selective metal removal, and taper processing to meet dimensional and contour requirements Requirements Minimum 5+ years of experience in chemical processing within an aerospace or manufacturing environment Experience with laser scribe operations Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and process specifications Working knowledge of precision measurement tools and inspection techniques
