JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Machinist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machining with the ability to operate various machine tools to produce high-quality components. This role requires attention to detail. Minimum 5 years experience required. Wages negotiable based on experience.

SKILLS

  • Proficiency in operating various machine tools (CNC Lathe, CNC Mill, Manual Machines)
  • Experience with CMM is an asset.
  • Strong knowledge of machining processes.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.

Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain CNC machines, lathes, and milling machines to produce parts according to specifications.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings.
  • Using CAD/CAM software - Solidworks, Gibbscam, Fusion or similar software to design and program parts.
  • Ensuring safety protocols are followed.
  • Conduct routine inspections of machined parts for quality assurance and adherence to specifications.
  • Troubleshoot machine issues and perform basic maintenance as necessary.
  • Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and improve efficiency.
