Participates with Machining on-the-job training which can include tool crib/Stockroom cutting, Methods dept., Quality processes, Benchwork/metal finishing, Tool design, Brazing/soldering techniques, Engineering drawings, C.N.C./conventional millers & lathes, and Miscellaneous machining equipment.   YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR:   * Inspects work using standard measuring equipment as required. * Lifts and moves heavy objects. * Perform other duties as needed and assigned.   YOU ARE THE RIGHT PERSON FOR THIS JOB IF YOU HAVE:   * Currently enrolled in a Vocational Technical machine technology program. Completes with passing grades and acceptable attendance a defined educational curriculum designed to provide instruction on specific information and skills required in the machining trade. * Able to read and interpret engineering drawings necessary to perform the assigned operation. * Demonstrated interest and aptitude in machining skills typically evidenced by shop/fabrication experience. * U.S. Citizenship and are able to obtain/maintain a U.S. Department of Defense Security Clearance.   WHO WE ARE:   We value the unique and diverse skills, qualities, and backgrounds that each employee brings to CPI EDB, and we respect each employee as an integral member of our growing team.
