MACHINIST

This position would requires Manual Machining experience and interested in learning CNC programing and operation of CNC Lathes and Mill.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

Required to have a High School Diploma or Equivalent
Registered or willing to register into Machinist Apprentice program
Excellent verbal skills to communicate with Co-workers and supervisors regarding technical issues. Ability to read and interpret blueprints specifications.
Strong skills and working knowledge
Experience with Mazatrol (Preferred but not required)

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

Strong mathematical skills to perform and understand machinist calculations as it relates to materials as well as a basic mechanical aptitude.

Responsibilities
  • Develop expertise in product knowledge
  • Responsible for accurate machining of high quality machined parts.
  • Ability to read Micrometers, Calipers and other machinist measuring tools.
  • Ability to read manufacturing drawings.
  • Daily meetings with Production leader to keep updated on manufacturing issues.
