JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled Machinist to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and experience with manual and CNC machinery. This role involves setting up and operating manual and CNC machines to produce precision parts according to specifications. The Machinist will work closely with our current machinist and team to ensure high-quality production while adhering to safety standards.

EXPERIENCE

  • Applicants must have and lathe experience.
  • Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to machining processes.
  • Proven experience as a Machinist
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand complex mechanical systems.
  • Proficiency in CAD software for programming CNC machines is preferred.
  • Experience operating forklifts is a plus.
  • Familiarity with various power tools used in machining processes.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating effective communication skills.

Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate M, to produce parts as per engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine machining operations.
  • Perform regular maintenance on machinery and troubleshoot any issues that arise during production.
  • Assemble components as required, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
  • Use power tools and measuring instruments to verify the dimensions of finished products.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all safety protocols.
