Position: Machinist – General Machine Work / CNC Machining
Location: Bowmanville, Ontario
Pay Rate: $20.00 to $25.00 per hour , depending on experience

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Proven experience of 3–4 years as a machinist, particularly with CNC machinery
· Experience working with engine lathes and milling machines
· Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on machining experience
· Solid understanding of basic math principles for measurements and calculations
· Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, charts, and tables accurately
· Excellent attention to detail and precision work
· Strong communication skills, both written and spoken
· Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards

· Perform general machining tasks including set-up, operation, and maintenance of CNC machines
· Manufacture precision parts according to engineering drawings and specifications
· Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy using precision measuring instruments
· Collaborate with the production team to ensure timely and accurate delivery
· Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following company and safety protocols
· Assist in machine troubleshooting and minor repairs as needed
· Fix and assemble components and machine parts to close tolerances
