About the Opportunity: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level CNC Machine Operator to join our aerospace manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will operate CNC Machines, ensure precision manufacturing of aerospace components, and adhere to strict quality standards. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop technical skills in a fast-paced, innovative environment. Location: Newburyport, MA. This position is 100% onsite. 1st and 2nd shift available Responsibilities * Set Up and operates CNC lathes and/or Milling machines and related equipment where programs, fixtures, and methods have been developed. * Work with our Engineers and Programmers to make all edits and adjustments as required to produce parts to work orders/blueprint specifications/sketches. * The ability to operate more than one machine in a cellular environment is required. * Demonstrates a working knowledge of feeds and speeds and a working knowledge of cutting tools and their application. * Inspects work for all dimensional features as required. * Produces quality and quantity of work in accordance with Company requirements. * Responsible for accurately completing paperwork relating to counts, scrap, time, etc. According to Company policy. * Performs duties always exercising good machining practices. * Maintains area, equipment, and tooling in a neat, safe, orderly condition including operator maintenance sheets. * Maintains coolant tanks and fills as necessary. * Trains, guides, and assists other employees as required. * Observes all Company policies, rules, and regulations including good housekeeping, safety, and security. Required Qualifications: * High School Diploma or equivalency certificate. * 1-3 years or more of Machining background and/or experience in a machine shop. * Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis without sponsorship now or in the future. The Company cannot offer employment to visa holders who require employer sponsorship in the future or cannot work now on a full-time basis. * Must be able to perform work subject to ITAR/EAR regulations Preferred Qualifications: * Understanding of G and M Codes. * Able to understand and interpret blueprints and sketches. * Troubleshooting Skills. * Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Working Conditions: * Requires mobility in a manufacturing plant environment while using Personal Protective Equipment. * Must be able to frequently sit, stand and walk. * Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds. Compensation: In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $20-27 per hour.
