Description

As a Machinist, you’ll perform setup and operation on a variety of machining equipment. What you’ll do: * Set up and operate machine tools (CMM, CNC Milling, Lathe, grinder, milling, drilling and specialised equipments) * Read operation sheet and perform to the expected requirements * Machine products to tight tolerances * Compute and verify dimensions to ensure accuracy * Ensure the correct use of approved tools, fixtures and correct machine program selection for repair work * Ensure that overhaul and repair activities are carried out in accordance with engine manuals, approved technical data, and regulatory requirements * Performs general facility and equipment maintenance including 6s housekeeping * Work independently and as a team to achieve maximum quality * Observing all applicable safety practices * Model behaviors consistent with good quality, health and safety, and environmental management practices. Responsibilities

The Machinist will set up and operate various machine tools to produce parts to tight tolerances while ensuring compliance with technical manuals and safety standards. Additionally, the role involves performing general facility maintenance and maintaining a clean 6S workspace.
