Position Summary:: Operate mills, lathes, and deburr with basic instruction. Inspect basic and intermediate features of aerospace and industrial system components, ensuring conformance to engineering requirements, specifications, and special instruction. Role Responsibilities: Operates conventional or CNC machines at an intermediate level for production of aerospace and industrial components. Able to perform set-ups on conventional or CNC machines with little supervision, mills or lathes. Understand, maintain, and execute Donaldson Quality Policies and Procedures. Able to make minor adjustments to bring parts into tolerance. Use inspection equipment to complete in process inspection and first article reports. May assist in orienting and training of lower level employees. Perform basic machine maintenance as required. Inspect manufactured product for uniformity, conformance, and record. Responsible for running multiple machines simultaneously, under the direction of supervisor. Other Duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications: Three years of consistent machining experience CNC or Conventional. Ability to demonstrate mechanical aptitude in the use of basic hand tools, and inspection equipment. Ability to read and understand basic blueprint features and machine shop routers. Ability to read and understand basic G and M code programming (CNC only). Perform a variety of tasks safely throughout the day in a fast-paced work environment. Reacts to change productively and to handle other tasks as assigned. Able to run a variety of machines, at least 75% of the equipment in the Valencia Machine shop.
