By maintaining the entire process, from design, machining, strain gage manufacturing and assembly, and in our own facilities, we can ensure the highest degree of performance possible. *Direct Hire Position*Overtime Available* Available Shift: * Monday - Thursday (2nd Shift 4x10s) - 2:00pm - 12:30am - Willing to train on 1st shift for 2-4 weeks POSITION SUMMARY: Sets up and controls operations of single or multiple production machines for the process of manufacturing products. Produces parts and assemblies using milling and lathe machines. Deciphers sketches, blueprints, and engineering details. Aids in establishing set up and layout method and the application of required parts and materials. Looking for a machinist to set up, run and operate the following HAAS machines: * SL30 Lathe * VF4 Mill  * ST 40 Lathe ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: * Set up and run machines * Produces parts and devices as needed by manufacturing or engineering for prototype and production needs * Is proficient and skilled in using all standard and specialized equipment needed including milling and lathe machines. * Complies with all safety and environmental compliance requirements * Minimizes equipment downtime and impact to overall operations REQUIRED SKILLS: * 3-5 year machine experience in manufacturing or warehouse environment. * Must have great attention to detail. * Communication (read and write in English) * Team player * Follow work instructions * Flexibility * Results Orientation * Organizational Skills PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
