We are seeking skilled CNC Machinists at all levels (I–III and Senior) with hands-on experience operating and maintaining various machines. This position is located at our Modesto facility for both swing and day shifts.  Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: * Knowledge of metal cutting machining procedures, shop mathematics, metal properties, and layout. * Work directly with department leads and engineering to run part specific process instructions. * Prove out CNC Programs and process instructions for engineering changes and new part programs. * Document any changes to the CNC Program or Setup/Fixtures. * Must be able to read and interpret basic manufacturing drawings and understand basic Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance standard (GD&T). * Make adjustments to the tool compensation values in the machine control to keep the machine features within process control limits. * Optimize Speeds and Feeds to produce quality parts. Document changes and provide feedback to the Programming Supervisor. * Measure, examine, and test completed units in order to detect defects and ensure conformance to specifications, using precision instruments. * Document in-process inspection Education and Experience * High School Graduate * CNC experience: 5+ years * Solid understanding of shop math, trigonometry, tooling, cutting parameters, and material properties. * Ability to use precision measuring instruments and read detailed engineering drawings. * Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills. Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk or hear and taste or smell. Responsibilities
Operate and maintain CNC machines to produce high-quality parts according to engineering specifications. Responsibilities include proving out programs, optimizing speeds and feeds, and performing in-process inspections using precision instruments.
