QUALIFICATIONS:
- Equivalent 4 years high school
- Experienced with Mastercam, manual machines, 3 axis, 5 axis and tool design an asset
plus
- On-the-job training in related or similar field for 5 years

Responsibilities:
- Receive and locate proper tools required for machines.
- Set tools/offsets/materials onto machine as required.
- Locate fastenings for fixtures to machines.
- Program CNC lathe.
- Check blueprints/specifications to ensure proper dimensions of lay-out parts as required.
- Measure and calibrate each tool/instruments in the machine.
- Perform tool-proving operation.
- Ensure shop aids are quality approved.
- Understand machine operations/set, schedule and work organization; ensure parts are moved to stages within proper time frames.
- Calculate feed and speed for machining.
- Calculate angles (trig) to machine tappers.
- All other duties as required by the company.
