Join our workshop in Columbus, MS as a Machinist. Our winning team is built by continuous investment in skills development, leadership and well-being. We have an opening at our Columbus, MS facility as a Machinist. In this production role, you will operate machines such as lathes, milling machines both conventional and computerized numerical control, drill presses, rotary surface grinder and flame burner. On a daily basis, you will need to interpret blue prints, conduct setups and layouts, and sharpening tools as needed. Operate fork lifts and mobile cranes. Will make machining fixtures and drill jigs from drawings. Requirements High school diploma or general education degree (GED) along with strong mechanical aptitude. Must have the ability to understand, follow instructions and complete tasks. Must be capable of wearing and using other safety equipment as required. Good understanding of measuring instruments and capable of taking accurate measurements to check and perform job functions. We offer We offer a challenging and innovating work environment.
