Description Machinist Wardcraft | Jackson, MI | Full-time Join Our Team Wardcraft is looking for an experienced Machinist to join our team. If you can run CNC and manual mills and lathes with precision, write and optimize programs, and take true ownership of your work area, we want to hear from you! Requirements What You'll Do Write and optimize programs to machine complex parts from blueprints, work orders, bills of materials, or established standards Take ownership of assigned areas, including regular maintenance of manual and CNC mills and lathes Accurately track and enter time and materials to the proper work orders Own quality control, adjust processes to keep product within spec, and reject and follow QC procedures on non-conforming material Maintain a clean, safe, and positive work environment per MIOSHA standards File and store proven programs, special tooling, fixtures, and tooling sheets What We're Looking For Ability to work independently, manage your assigned area, troubleshoot, and follow Wardcraft procedures Journeyman Card, Technical Certificate, or 5+ years of on-the-job training Comfortable in a fast-paced shop environment with exposure to fumes, noise, coolant, and temperature extremes Ability to occasionally lift or move up to 50 lbs Schedule Choose from: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM, or Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM–4:30 PM Regular overtime and occasional weekend work required.
