Description Wheeler Machinery is looking for an experienced Machinist that has a background in both Manual and CNC machining in their Salt Lake City, UT location. Full-time benefited position. Keep safety first in all tasks while utilizing TRACK/Tyfoom. Duties & Responsibilities: Experience running Manual lathes and mills Preferred Experience running CNC lathes and mills but not required Experience programming parts in CAM Software preferably Gibbs CAM) Demonstrate and work safely in all aspects of the job. Be a safety leader within the team, lead and model safe behaviors, and drive continued safety improvements. Have a desire to help grow the company and expand into new markets Interpret fabrication drawings and understand standard machining symbols and terms Work along with manager and team leader to solve problems and provide solutions Ability to work well in a team, give input, drive account ability, and train and mentor others. Ability to see the big picture of the job and how your contribution impacts the project. Ability to work from instruction and job routings. Able to perform work in desired time requirements for each task and job. Must utilize TRACK and work safely at all times. Required Qualifications: Must be a self-starter. Must be willing to put in extra hours to take care of the customer. Must be a team player and work well with others. Must have a positive, can-do attitude. Responsibilities

The Machinist will operate both manual and CNC lathes and mills, ensuring safety and quality in all tasks. They will also interpret fabrication drawings and collaborate with the team to solve problems and improve processes.
