Description
SAIC is looking for individuals to join our growing MADIS (Marine Air Defense Integrated System) program. The logistics team supports the mission by implementing/maintaining systems utilized on military vehicle platforms while working alongside of the integration team. These assets include optics, radar, and detection capabilities on the JLTV (Joint Light Tactical Vehicle), Polaris MRZR, Utility Terrain Vehicles (UTV), and Ultra-Light Tactical Vehicle (ULTV). Work will be performed in: North Charleston, SC and Hanahan, SC Qualifications: • Minimum requirements will vary based on role, level, education, and experience. • US Citizenship is required. • Minimum of Position of Trust Desired Qualifications: • CAC Card Positions will be available in the following skill area: • Engineering Technician I • Engineering Technician II • Material Handling Laborer • Warehouse Specialist • Material Coordinator • Supply Technician Required Experience/Skills: • Monitor, correct, and report material record discrepancies • Reconcile receiving, shipping, and warehouse inventory reports • Document, track, and report daily deliveries, shipments, and internal material movements • Collaborate with material handlers and other warehouse/logistics staff to ensure timely, efficient packaging, handling, storage, and transportation (PHS&T) of material • Coordinate and expedite the flow of material to and from various departments • Assist Logistics Leads in daily coordination • Communicate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and resolve any supply issues. • Must be able to safely complete all of the physical demands of the job in a warehouse environment, including but not limited to the following: Lifting, pulling, pushing and carrying up to 50 pounds, unassisted, on a regular basis.
