POSITION SUMMARY:

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented graphic designer to join our magazine production team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing visually engaging magazine layouts, covers, and digital and print graphics that align with the publication’s brand and editorial standards.
In addition to print work, the ideal candidate will lead the creation of digital assets for web, mobile, social media, email campaigns, and other digital platforms. Responsibilities include designing interactive PDFs, posting digital editions of the magazine, web banners, social media visuals, infographics, and promotional graphics.
This position requires a sharp eye for detail, a deep understanding of current design trends and tools, and the ability to translate editorial content into engaging visual experiences across platforms. Candidates must be comfortable working collaboratively in a fast-paced publishing environment and balancing multiple projects under tight deadlines.
This is a full-time, on-site position. The selected candidate will be required to work from our office located at:

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, visual communication, or a related field (preferred but not required)
· Minimum of 2 years of experience in magazine, editorial, or publication design
· Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
· Strong understanding of typography, color theory, layout design, and visual hierarchy
· Ability to meet tight deadlines while maintaining high design standards
· Demonstrated ability to adhere to brand and editorial guidelines
· Professional portfolio showcasing relevant editorial or magazine design work

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

· Experience with digital publishing tools and platforms
· Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS and digital layout design
· Illustration or hand-drawing skills
· Familiarity with photography selection and art direction

Responsibilities

· Design compelling layouts for feature articles, departments, and special sections
· Create visually appealing and brand-consistent magazine covers
· Develop illustrations, infographics, pull quotes, and design elements to enhance editorial content
· Select, edit, and retouch photographs to ensure consistency and high visual quality
· Maintain and evolve the magazine’s visual identity in accordance with established style guides
· Collaborate closely with the editor throughout the production process
· Design and edit advertising materials for both print and digital distribution
· Prepare files for print, ensuring compliance with pre-press and publishing specifications
· Upload and manage monthly content updates on the company website following each publication release
· Design and produce creative assets for social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, X, etc.)
· Develop branded templates, stories, reels, carousels, and promotional materials
· Stay up to date with social media trends and integrate them into designs
· Collaborate with marketing, content, and product teams to align visuals with campaigns
· Ensure all designs meet brand guidelines and deliver on strategic goals
· Create occasional motion graphics, short animations, or GIFs to enhance storytelling
· Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
