The Role As a Mail Insert Operator, you’ll play a key role in making sure our client mail production is accurate, organized, and mailed correctly. You’ll work hands-on with high-speed inserting and mailing equipment such as Bell & Howell and Pitney Bowes systems that use barcode scanning and camera validation to ensure every piece is correct. This is a great role for someone who enjoys working with machines, following detailed instructions, and being part of a production team where quality and accuracy matter. Schedule: Monday–Friday 2:30pm-11:00pm Key Responsibilities Read and follow job instructions and job tickets to ensure accuracy Verify materials, contents, and counts for each job Operate inserting/mailing equipment (setup, basic adjustments, minor maintenance) Tray and palletize mail for shipment Apply correct postage rates and follow postal regulations for presorted mail Identify issues early and escalate when something doesn’t look right Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent experience Basic math is required Ability to work in a fast-paced processing environment and adhere to deadlines Ability to process, comprehend and follow detailed instructions Must be able to read and understand job ticket details and perform correct duties for the inserter, including set-up and minor maintenance Ability to operate, setup and program AUI/HLI Computer systems Must be flexible with hours including working various shifts, overtime, and some Saturday work may be required Basic use and knowledge of Windows operating system Possess working knowledge of Postal regulations as they apply to presorted mail Be able to stand for long periods and time and lift occasionally 45 lbs.
