Requirements: High School diploma or equivalent and two (2) years of experience in an operation such as a mailroom, clearinghouse, docket, hotline, or library. (A bachelor's degree may be substituted for the two years of work experience.) Permanent Residency or US Citizenship required and eligibility to pass a government background investigation that includes credit, criminal and other checks. Customer service skills, and strong organizational skills with attention to detail required. Proficiency/experience with MS Office. Ability to work independently and on teams, to communicate effectively with colleagues and customers, to prioritize and manage multiple on-going projects, to quickly adapt to change, and to meet deadlines. Physical requirements include full range of arm motion, including lifting above the head, ability to bend, stoop and kneel, ability to routinely lift and carry 40 lbs. in weight, to push or pull 200 lbs. on carts, to push or pull 1200 lbs. via pallet jack, ability to use step ladders to reach materials on upper shelves. Candidate should also be comfortable sitting at computer workstation for long periods of time. Responsibilities: Receiving and recording all incoming physical mail to the EPA Docket Center, filing documents, organizing shelf space, and moving boxes of documents as required. Learning the use of FDMS and providing data entry into that system as needed. Responding to customer inquiries, participating in records organization projects, and assisting with records imaging. Assisting colleagues with preparing and shipping large batches of records to off-site storage, maintaining daily activity statistics, and producing monthly activity reports. Responsibilities
