Job Description Mail Clerk 3+ months Guilford, CT (Onsite) M-F (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM) Driving is required using a personal vehicle (mileage reimbursed at $0.67/mile). Qualifications provide on-site support across multiple client locations, performing mailroom, print production, and reception duties. This role requires strong customer service skills, reliability, and flexibility to travel between sites (mileage reimbursed at $0.67/mile). Key Responsibilities: Deliver exceptional customer service while supporting daily office operations at multiple sites. Perform mailroom duties including receiving, sorting, and distributing incoming/outgoing mail and packages. Assist with print production tasks such as copying, scanning, and binding as needed. Provide front desk/reception coverage, greeting visitors and directing calls professionally. Maintain accurate expense reports and follow company procedures for mileage and reimbursements. Ensure compliance with safety, confidentiality, and company standards at all times. Adapt quickly to varying work environments (legal, insurance, healthcare, and manufacturing offices). Assist in resolving customer inquiries and coordinating issue resolution. Perform light physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education preferred. Minimum of 12 months of related work experience in mailroom, office support, or customer service. Valid driver’s license with reliable, insured transportation. Willingness to travel between multiple sites within a 40–50 mile radius (parking free or reimbursable). Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer applications. Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and maintain flexibility with shifting schedules or assignments Additional Information lifting or moving items weighing up to 50-55 lbs.
