Description SCHEDULE: 40 hours Sunday - Thursday 7am - 3:30pm Monday – Friday 7am- 3:30pm. (This position is essential in the event of Weather or other emergencies with On Call Responsibilities) Pays $21.40 - $24.00 per hour DOE (Salary ranges provided are based on relevant experience and skill set) LOCATION: 444 Harrison Avenue, Boston SUMMARY OF THE POSITION: The Maintenance Technician is a full-time, essential role responsible for day-to-day maintenance tasks, including basic plumbing, electrical work, painting, and carpentry. Duties include assisting with special event setups, snow removal duties, preventive maintenance programs, and troubleshooting HVAC systems, food service equipment, grounds and seasonal snow removal equipment. The position requires participation in the on-call rotation, responding to emergencies within a 25-mile radius; Demonstrate the ability to work independently while maintaining positive, working relationships with the facilities staff and operations team. Requirements QUALIFICATIONS: REQUIRED: Ability to pass a CORI clearance facilities or property maintenance experience Operate snow removal / landscape equipment Emergency on call / Holiday onsite rotation coverage for PSI Main Campus Events EDUCATION/TRAINING: REQUIRED: High School Diploma or GED Ability to read printed labels and instructions Previous experience in Building Maintenance Service calls PREFERRED: Bilingual English/Spanish Hoisting License Basic Electrical Certification Basic Plumbing Certification KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE: REQUIRED: Knowledge of building trades such as painting, plumbing, carpentry and electrical systems Knowledge of Completing Work order forms on electronic device · PREFERRED: Minimum of 2 years of maintenance experience
