Description You will be part of a team that works together to efficiently and safely unload all cars of brick. You will need to develop a strong knowledge of entire unloading operation; you must be willing to learn and operate all unloading equipment efficiently, at desired rates with minimum downtime. You will communicate with supervision about production, quality and safety issues. Weekly TPM and 5S as outline by management. Requirements Maintain safe and clean work area to avoid personal injury and/or property damage. Must maintain established production levels on Main head or other equipment if assigned Use proper safety equipment and procedures including LO/TO Ability to learn other jobs and fill in when needed. Ability to understand computers as they relate to unloading process. Ability to make fast and efficient brick size and style changes Ability to use hand tools to perform minor repairs, preventive maintenance and machine changeovers. Must possess basic knowledge of transfer cars and haulage systems. Ability to work odd hours or shifts if necessary Physical Requirements Must be able to lift 50 lbs. occasionally. Must be able to twist, stoop, climb and bend regularly. Hardhat, safety glasses, steel toe shoes and ear plugs etc. required.
Responsibilities
