HOST/HOSTESS JOB DESCRIPTION POSITION SUMMARY The PT Host/Hostess is responsible for creating a welcoming dining experience by greeting guests, managing seating arrangements, and supporting efficient restaurant operations. This role helps ensure prompt, courteous service while maintaining a clean and organized front-of-house environment. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner and escort them to their tables. * Manage dining reservations, waitlists, and seating arrangements to ensure smooth guest flow. * Coordinate special requests, parties, and guest accommodations as needed. * Provide menus and communicate restaurant information to guests. * Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining room areas, host stands, serving stations, and tables. * Monitor and replenish dining room supplies, including linens and service items. * Assist with beverage preparation and help expedite food orders when necessary. * Process guest payments accurately and efficiently. * Work closely with servers, kitchen staff, and management to provide excellent customer service. * Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and sanitation standards.
