Job Description Experience: 2 years to 4 years Location: Chennai Mode of work: Hybrid (3 days to office every week) Shift Timing: UK Shift Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Mainframe Developer with strong expertise in COBOL, CICS, JCL, and VSAM. The ideal candidate will be responsible for application maintenance, support, and enhancements while ensuring system stability and performance. Experience with service management tools such as Jira is essential. Key Responsibilities Develop, maintain, and support mainframe applications using COBOL, CICS, JCL, and VSAM Perform application maintenance, bug fixes, and production support activities Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions Monitor and resolve incidents, service requests, and problem tickets using Jira Ensure timely resolution of production issues and minimize system downtime Work closely with cross-functional teams for system enhancements and deployments Perform code reviews, testing, and documentation Participate in release management and change management processes Required Skills Strong hands-on experience in COBOL, CICS, JCL, and VSAM Experience with service management and ticketing tools like Jira Solid understanding of mainframe application architecture Experience in application maintenance and production support Good knowledge of debugging and problem-solving techniques Preferred Qualifications Experience in banking, financial services, or insurance domains Familiarity with batch and online processing systems Knowledge of ITIL processes or service management frameworks Qualifications BE / B.Tech / M.E / M.Tech / MCA Additional Information At our organization, we are committed to fighting against all forms of discrimination.
