JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mainframe Developer to join our team in Mississauga, Canada. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mainframe technologies and a solid understanding of the Cards Domain , particularly on the issuing side . This role requires hands-on experience in COBOL, JCL, VSAM, DB2 , and Unix scripting , along with a good grasp of Agile methodologies .

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • 6 to 8 years of hands-on experience in Mainframe development .
  • Strong expertise in COBOL, JCL, VSAM, and DB2 .
  • Proficiency in Unix shell scripting .
  • Solid understanding of Agile development methodologies .
  • Experience in the Cards Domain , especially on the issuing side .
  • Familiarity with billing and posting processes .
  • Awareness of the end-to-end card lifecycle .

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience working in a hybrid work environment.Prior experience in financial services or banking domain.
