Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Mainframe Developer with strong expertise in Cardlink systems to design, develop, enhance, and maintain payment processing applications. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of mainframe technologies and hands-on experience working with Cardlink for credit/debit card transaction processing. Key Responsibilities Develop, enhance, and maintain mainframe applications using COBOL, JCL, CICS, and DB2. Work on Cardlink modules for card issuance, authorization, settlement, chargeback, and reconciliation processes. Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Perform system analysis, coding, unit testing, integration testing, and support for production systems. Troubleshoot and resolve application issues within SLA timelines. Participate in code reviews and ensure compliance with coding standards and best practices. Collaborate with business analysts, QA teams, and other stakeholders for smooth project delivery. Create and maintain technical documentation. Provide production support during business and non-business hours when needed. Required Skills & Experience 5+ years of experience in Mainframe development. Strong hands-on skills in COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2, VSAM. Proven working experience with Cardlink application modules and payment domain processes. Knowledge of ISO 8583 messaging standards and transaction switching is a plus. Experience in debugging, performance tuning, and production support. Familiarity with SDLC methodologies (Agile/Waterfall). Good communication and problem-solving skills. Preferred Skills Exposure to other payment systems (Base24, VisionPLUS, FIS, etc.). Knowledge of batch and online transaction processing. Understanding of PCI DSS and other payment security standards.
