REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent work experience).
• 8+ years of infrastructure experience, including 8+ years of MQ administration on z/OS.
• Expertise in:
• MQ Queue Sharing Groups
• MQ Clusters (mainframe-based)
• Channel Authentication in z/OS
• TLS Certificate Management
• MQ Stream Queues
• Strong knowledge of MQ disaster recovery practices on mainframe.
• Basic understanding of security exits, MQ upgrade processes, and incident/change management.
• Ability to manage multiple deliverables in a high-pressure environment.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Basic application programming experience in COBOL, Java, or C on z/OS.
• Background in the financial services industry.
• Experience troubleshooting CICS logs and MQ application flows.

• Collaborate with application teams to design and implement MQ solutions tailored to business needs.
• Provision and maintain MQ infrastructure on mainframe z/OS and distributed platforms.
• Configure and support queue sharing groups, MQ clusters, channel authentication, and TLS certificates.
• Support and troubleshoot MQ DR events, capacity issues, IPLs, and other mainframe dependencies.
• Assist with MQ-related alerts, incidents, and root cause analysis.
• Contribute to change management and disaster recovery planning and execution.
• Understand and analyze CICS logs for troubleshooting.
• Provide basic support for MQ application programming, ideally in COBOL or other mainframe languages.
