Key Responsibilities Analyze, design, develop, test, and implement mainframe-based applications and enhancements. Handle end-to-end development lifecycle from requirement analysis to deployment and support. Maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize batch and online systems. Develop and maintain COBOL, Assembler, JCL, DB2, and CICS programs. Conduct code reviews, impact analysis, and performance tuning. Provide production support and perform root cause analysis for incidents. Create and maintain technical documentation and ensure adherence to coding standards. Support migration and modernization efforts integrating mainframe with distributed/cloud systems. Required Technical and Professional Expertise Minimum 6 to 10 years of experience in Mainframe Developer. Programming Languages: COBOL, Assembler, JCL, REXX (added advantage) Mainframe Tools & Utilities: TSO/ISPF, File-Aid, Expeditor, Abend-Aid, IBM utilities Transaction & Database Management: CICS, DB2 (SQL, Stored Procedures, performance tuning), VSAM Job Scheduling & Version Control: Endevor, zWS (TWS/OPC) Debugging & Testing Tools: Xpeditor, File-Aid, Abend-Aid, PDF-Fast Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and documentation abilities Preferred Technical and Professional Experience Experience with IMS (optional but preferred) Familiarity with CLIST scripting Exposure to mainframe modernization or integration with distributed/cloud systems Knowledge of Agile methodologies and DevOps practices in a mainframe environment Being You Diversity is a whole lot more than what we look like or where we come from, it’s how we think and who we are.
