Missions • External Service Provider Management Service: Service to manage and support our External Service Provider, by working closely and on a regular basis with their External Service Provider counterpart to ensure the full CICS service is delivered. • Technical Support Service: Service to provide expert-level technical support for CICS regions and applications, understanding and capability to explain all concepts related to the CICS service, including the responsibilities and accountabilities of the different parties. The service includes also technical advice for CICS-related projects. • Performance & Tuning Service: Service to optimise transaction processing and system tuning and to analyse and improve CICS performance metrics. • CICS Product Evolution Service: Service to manage the short- and mid-term evolution of the technical solution for CICS delivered by our External Service Provider, contributing to the continuous improvement of processes/procedures and the CICS service by challenging our External Service Provider and requesting proposals for optimization, tracking the execution of agreed improvement plans. • Disaster Recovery Service: Service to provide CICS-related support for Disaster Recovery planning and testing. Main Deliverables: • Management Support: Service to provide Management with adequate technical information to make the right operational decisions related to CICS. • RCA Approval: Service to scrutinize and approve Root Cause Analysis (RCA) reports related to CICS. • Patching Service: Service to ensure that all required patches, fixes and upgrades are implemented by our external Service Provider to secure operational risks and that the impact of fixes, patches and upgrades is fully understood and anticipated by relevant stakeholders. • Reporting Service: Service to provide regular and proactive information related to ongoing CICS activities and to deliver and review CICS KPI data (availability, incidents, volumes, capacity, etc.) Profile Service with expertise in computer science, Information Technology, or equivalent practical expertise. Service with 5–8 years expertise in CICS with deep technical specialization - Mandatory Service with advanced expertise of CICS internals and system exits - Mandatory Service with strong analytical and performance tuning expertise - Mandatory Service with proficiency in dump analysis and diagnostic tools - Mandatory Service with expertise with CICS and application integration - Mandatory Service capable to interact in a global environment with international colleagues - Mandatory Service provider’s personnel with capability to operate effectively under pressure Service excellent customer service, interpersonal, communication and team collaboration expertise - Mandatory Service with capability to become a facilitator and popularize technical concept to different population
