Key Responsibilities * Application Development: Analyze requirements and develop/modify mainframe programs (COBOL). * System Maintenance: Debug, unit test, and maintain existing systems for optimal performance. * Job Control Language (JCL): Write and maintain JCL for batch job execution. * Database Management: Work with DB2 and VSAM for data storage and retrieval. * Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and support system upgrades. * Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation for system configurations and procedures. * Required Technical Skills * * Languages: COBOL. * Environment: IBM z/OS, TSO/ISPF. * Database/Files: DB2, VSAM. * Tools: JCL, IBM Utilities, SORT, Control-M. * Optional: Experience with FIS (Systematics) software.
