You’ll be managing systems data for clients and providing day-to-day solutions and security compliance. You’ll oversee a queue of assignments and work directly with technicians, prioritizing tickets to deliver the best solutions to our clients. Who You Are You’re good at what you do and possess the required experience to prove it. Required Technical and Professional Expertise • Minimum 8+ Years' experience in Mainframes batch and console operations. • Proficient in MVS, COBOL, JCL, VSAM, Mainframe System Knowledge, Basics of Mainframe operations, networking. • Expertise on monitoring tools like IBM Omega Mon, CA Insight, BMC Main view etc. • DB2, CICS and other Mainframe related Tools for Batch Environment Experience in scheduling on-request batch jobs that require immediate execution. • Ability to invoke resolution and restart procedures in case of failures in the batch jobs. • Execute production subsystem (e.g., IMS, CICS, DB2, IDMS) started tasks restarts, as per support team specifications during special activity changes and upgrading. Preferred Technical and Professional Experience • Working knowledge on Mainframes job operations tools such as CA7 / Control-You love collaborative environments that use agile methodologies to encourage creative design thinking and find innovative ways to develop with cutting edge technologies. • Ambitious individual who can work under their own direction towards agreed targets/goals and with creative approach to work Intuitive individual with an ability to manage change and proven time management. • Proven interpersonal skills while contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed Up-to-date technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing publications. • Ability to mentor junior team members and share knowledge effectively. • Adaptability and continuous learning to stay updated with mainframe technologies.
