Who You Are You’re good at what you do and possess the required experience to prove it. Required Skills and Experience •4 to 6 Years of experience in z/OS System Administration environment with work management, user management, journal management and performance management. • Responsible for Installation, Maintenance and upgrades for z/OS and ISV products. • Responsible for Problem determination and remediation. Work closely with customer, vendor and internal teams to remediate problems. • Adopt the given technology to meet the drift of customer and business requirements. • Act as support and domain expert for z/OS operating system and system components; provide direct technical support as needed in the planning, coordination, installation, implementation and testing of releases, upgrades, or changes to z/OS operating system, network, and component software. • Primary support for assigned ISV products along with diagnose z/OS platform system and product issues and follow up with root cause analysis • Analyze performance issues while providing technical consultation and inquiries from the other IT technical teams. • Support for new product installation and evaluation as needed. • Hands on expertise/Knowledge in z/OS, SMP/E, SMF, RMF, GRS, JCL, WLM, RACF, VTAM, TCPIP, USS/OMVS etc. Preferred Skills and Experience • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field. • Troubleshoot Infrastructure and Application issues related to z/OS. • Participate in Disaster Recovery planning and tests as scheduled. • Excellent troubleshooting and customer service skills. • Proven experience in providing support for ISV products.
