This is the motto that embodies our entire culture here at the Cavender Auto Family, and what has helped us grow into the amazing company we are today!   Audi of Lubbock, Texas, a Cavender Auto Family Dealership, is currently looking for a talented Mainline Service Technician/Mechanic to join our growing family and help "Make Confidence Happen".   Veterans and Military spouses are encouraged to apply!   Incentives we are offering:  * If you are a recent graduate of an accredited technical school (graduated within the last 24 month) $625 per month tuition reimbursement for 2 year ($15,000 in total) * Aggressive sign on bonuses with guaranteed hours - up to $15,000 based on level, and certifications.  * Apprentice: $4,000 * Level 1-2/Recon: $6,000 * Level 3: $8,000 * Master/Senior Master: $15,000 * Up to $10,000 in relocation assistance (reimbursement)    Why Work at Audi of Lubbock, Texas: * Shop is flagging 3,000 hours per month * 3.43 hours per RO * Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance, and pet insurance * Paid Time off * Paid Maternity and Paternity leave (Parental Leave) * Company Paid $10,000 life insurance policy * Employee discounts on Vehicles, Service and Parts * Professional growth and development training on a quarterly basis.   Here is what you will be doing: * Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards. * Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment. * Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc. * Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs. * Complete all tasks assigned in a timely manner and maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work. * Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications. * Maintain the work area in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations. * Any other duties as assigned by Management   Here is what you will need: * Previous experience as a service technician required * Strong automotive background * Manufacture ASE certifications preferred * Submit to and successfully complete MVR, background check, and pre-employment drug test. * Valid driver's license   We are an equal opportunity employer and prohibit discrimination/harassment without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state, or local laws.
