Job tile: Maintain, Repair, & Organize (MRO)-Buyer
Department: Procurement
Reports to: Head of Procurement
FLSA Status: Hourly
Job Summary: The Buyer and Inventory Controller will oversee the activities of purchasing and inventory.

Qualities & Responsibilities:

  • Ability to work with many levels of members in the facility (Floor members-Owners) as well as represent Brava in a professional light to venders and/or guests.
  • Ability to take on challenges of starting from scratch to develop a workable, streamline parts crib with inventory to keep equipment running.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Ability to track down parts and substitute when needed.
  • Ability to take on other facility purchasing outside of maintenance.
  • Keep accurate records for invoice meetings.
  • General understanding of maintenance
  • Purchase supplies, materials, and parts for the company
  • Maintain knowledge of trends, prices, buyers, and delivery conditions to anticipate future material availability; directs purchasing programs according.
  • Develops and maintains inventory databases for supplies and materials used.
  • Negotiates and completes contracts with vendors for optimal cost and delivery times.
  • Reviews purchase orders and contracts for compliance with company and departmental polices.
  • Purchase large and complex items.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures related to purchasing and inventory control with a goal to maximize efficiency and optimize workflow.
  • Collaborates with sales, customer service, and logistics department to maximize efficiency in the purchasing.
  • Monthly inventory
  • Workable lay-outs
  • Kan-Ban (managing workflow)
  • Occupational mild maintenance help
  • Position could expand into Production buying.
  • Knowledge between inventory and consumables
  • Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be able to reach, stretch, bend, kneel, with the ability to sit, stand, or walk for long periods of time.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull objects weighing over 50 pounds.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
