Overview Element Materials Technology is seeking a skilled and motivated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The Maintenance Technician will work closely with the Maintenance Manager to troubleshoot, problem-solve, and execute installations, repairs, and preventative maintenance tasks across our facility. This role requires a hands-on professional with experience in commercial or facilities maintenance and a proactive approach to improving systems and processes. About Element Materials Technology:Element Materials Technology is a leading provider of materials testing and inspection services. Our teams specialize in Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) methods including Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection (FPI), Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI), Ultrasonic Testing (UT), and chemical processing. We serve a wide range of industries, ensuring the safety, reliability, and performance of critical materials and components. Salary: $23- $30/hr DOE Responsibilities Collaborate with the Maintenance Manager to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve maintenance issues efficiently. Perform installations, repairs, and modifications of facility equipment and systems.Support preventative maintenance programs to ensure reliability and operational efficiency. Monitor and maintain waste treatment systems in compliance with environmental and safety regulations. Contribute to facility improvement projects and process optimization initiatives. Apply knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems to maintain and improve facility operations. Troubleshoot problems and complete projects within defined timeframes. Support Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) initiatives when applicable. Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation of work performed. Skills / Qualifications Experience in commercial or facilities maintenance preferred. Familiarity with HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems a plus. Trade experience highly desirable. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage time-based projects and prioritize tasks effectively. Knowledge of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) is an advantage. Experience with waste treatment systems or environmental compliance a plus. Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
