Description Belstra Milling Co. is seeking an administrative assistant for our feed mill maintenance and transportation departments. This position will support the daily operations of both the maintenance and mechanics teams to ensure our facilities and equipment are taken care of. In addition, this position must work in compliance with all the company policies, local, state, and federal policies, laws, and regulations. Job Duties and Responsibilities (included but not limited to): Assist in price discovery and ordering of parts and materials Assist in inventory management of parts and materials Schedule dates and meetings for vendors and required state inspections Monitor and organize receipts for projects and class codes Create and help prioritize work orders Create and organize preventative maintenance lists Document tasks and completed projects in database programs Properly maintain DOT driver files Keep vehicle maintenance records and paperwork accurate and updated Maintain a clean and safe work area Requirements Skills and Requirements (included but not limited to): Familiarity in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) Professional telephone etiquette Active listening abilities Exceptional time management skills and self motivation Attention to detail Clear communication skills Education and Experience: High School Diploma or G.E.D. required Prior experience around maintenance or mechanic shops a plus Safety & Training Requirements: Employees in this role are required to complete and maintain the following safety trainings, as applicable: General New Hire Safety Training Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) & Requirements
