Perform preventative, predictive, and diagnostic maintenance on production equipment (scheduled and unscheduled). Execute machine changeovers, conversions, and precision set-ups. Create and update maintenance plans using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System). Document all maintenance activities in logs, work orders, and reports. Support improvement initiatives to reduce downtime and eliminate waste. Train and support colleagues on maintenance and equipment practices (including Autonomous Maintenance). Source and install parts, materials, and tools needed for equipment upkeep. Participate in team meetings, communicate equipment status, and support shift transitions. Take initiative to solve complex equipment issues and drive continuous improvement. Requirements What You’ll Need 5–7 years of industrial maintenance experience (food or aseptic manufacturing preferred) High school diploma or equivalent Hands-on knowledge of: Electrical, mechanical, and electronic repair Hydraulics, pneumatics, AC/DC motors, and servo systems PLC troubleshooting and programming Analog/digital circuitry Experience with CMMS or CSMM systems Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong documentation and communication skills
Responsibilities
The AFM Technician will respond to equipment issues, troubleshoot problems, and complete repairs in a timely manner. They will perform preventative, predictive, and diagnostic maintenance on production equipment and support improvement initiatives to reduce downtime.
