ESSENTIAL SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS

• Technical diploma or proven experience in maintenance, engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role, ideally in luxury hospitality.
• Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and painting.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Hands-on, proactive, and detail-oriented approach to work.
• Professional appearance with a guest-friendly attitude.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Fluency in English (Dutch or Papiamentu is an advantage).
• Ability to anticipate needs, act proactively, and maintain discretion.
• Calm, professional demeanor that reflects Baoase’s luxury service standards.

• Perform daily inspections and preventive maintenance across guest rooms, villas, and
• facilities.
• Handle corrective maintenance tasks including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting,
• and HVAC.
• Respond promptly to guest and departmental maintenance requests.
• Maintain tools and equipment in safe, working condition.
• Provide professional and courteous assistance to guests with technical issues.
• Coordinate with Front Office and Housekeeping to minimize guest disturbance during
• repairs.
• Monitor and report on safety systems to ensure compliance with regulations and resort
• standards.
• Keep accurate records of inspections, maintenance, and repairs.
• Collaborate with other departments and report major technical issues to supervisors.
• Support resort presentation, landscaping, projects, and event setups when required.
