Heavy Metal Equipment & Rentals is expanding rapidly, and we’re searching for an experienced Maintenance Analyst. Maintenance Analysts are responsible for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of Heavy Metal’s assets by developing and implementing effective maintenance plans, analyzing data to identify trends, and optimizing maintenance workflows. Analysts use computerized management systems to manage maintenance tasks, track equipment performance, and generate reports.

The Job:
- Implement technology and process improvement strategies for asset and maintenance management
- Develop and prepare asset performance reports for internal and external review
- Manage and improve the use of work orders to support sound planning and cost collection
- Records management with regular reconciliation of key accounts
WORK AT THE HEART OF CANADA’S ENERGY SECTOR
Based in the Alberta Oil Sands (Fort McMurray/Wood Buffalo Region), you’ll work 12 hours/day on a 7/7 or a 14/14 rotation in a safety-first environment.
What We’re Looking For:
- A desire to make a difference and take pride in your work
- Mechanical, Civil, or Mining Engineering or Technician level training
- Minimum 3 years’ experience working with heavy equipment
- Analytical Skills: ability to analyze data, identify trends, and develop solutions
- Software Expertise: proficiency in using and managing software and data systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and particularly at an advanced level of Excel
- Problem-Solving Skills: ability to identify and implement process improvements to enhance maintenance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve asset reliability.
- Communication Skills: the ability to communicate effectively (written and oral) is essential for interacting with customers, clients, and vendors
- Technical Skills: strong understanding of planning and scheduling concepts as they relate to heavy equipment
- Organizational Skills: must be able to manage multiple tasks, prioritize the work, organize data effectively, meet tight deadlines, and work well under pressure
- Adaptability: the ability to adapt to changing priorities and work conditions is essential in a dynamic environment
- Detail-Oriented: attention to detail is crucial for accurate data collection, analysis, and identifying areas for improvement
